Description
This is a classic green tea. It is one of the early harvests from the high altitude tea estates of China. This means it has less of a vegetal flavor than other green teas. Refreshing and elegant.
This green tea is harvested in a tea farm located high in the mountains isolated from
industry and pollution. The long spring and the ecological balance of the soil means
that our Jade Grønn is fresh and has very little astringency/dryness and bitterness.
Our Jade Grønn is handpicked during the spring season using the "two leaves and one shot". The tea is a combination of steamed and hot air fried leaves.

It is important that the tea is stored protected from air and light. That's why we sell all our teas packed in tight aluminum ziplock bags. You can buy sealed boxes for storage here.

To be approved by Debio and use the definition Organic, not only must the ingredients be certified organic, but our own facility must also be certified by Debio (Norwegian authority) and controlled by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority. In addition to import controls from the Norwegian Food Safety Authority, we go beyond the requirements by also taking random samples of pesticides and other pollutants.
