Beautiful black tea, of the Dian Hong type from Yunnan, with large leaves and fine tips is mixed with bergamot oil from Italy to create this classic. It has much more citrus flavor than regular Earl Gray and is loved by those who like a little milk and sweetness as well as those who like it plain.
Dian hong tea is a Chinese gourmet tea from the Yunnan province of China. Compared to other Chinese black teas, Dian hong has "golden tips". Drink alone, Dian hong produces a golden orange brew with a sweet, mild aroma and no astringency. We have flavored with the finest "virgin" bergamot oil we could find. We found it in Italy.
